The TelosB is fully supported in OpenWSN.
The OpenWSN builders build the TelosB firmware nightly:

Buy from MEMSIC, or see the Advanticsys CM5000 clone
MSP430f1611, 48kB flash, 10kB RAM
JTAG support
Remove the battery holder (cut the two wires)
Solder a 4x1 2mm pitch female header on
U8Buy or build a JTAG adaptor board
Buy a debugger, like the TI MSP-430FETUIF
