    • Sprint:

      Description

Mercator based on the latest code base doesn't work on FIT/IoT-LAB because of introducing XON/XOFF, which is not supported by the platform.

This was wrong; confirmed that, even having XON/XOFF enabled in M3 code, the mercator firmware works fine (updated)

Here is a list of development items including one mentioned above:

      • enable Mercator to run on `iot-lab_M3` motes in a FIT/IoT-LAB testbed
      • enable Mercator to run on `openmote-b-24ghz` motes in an OpenTestbed
      • improve robustness and reliability of Mercator
      • suppress unnecessary`IND_RX` traffic to increase success ratio of mercator commands
      • introduce `RESP_TX`, `RESP_RX`, and `RESP_IDLE` as acknowledgements for corresponding requests
      • fix bugs in `03oos_mercator.c`
