pinging a mote 2 hops away causes relaying mote to reset

Description

When pinging the IPv6 address of the mote 1 hop away from the DAGroot, everything works fine. Pinging two hops away causes the intermediate mote to print a "header too long" error, then to reboot.

Environment

linear network, 1 DAGroot, 2 motes. OpenVisualizer connected to LBR.
